Monumental Pictures’ biggest stars, glamorous on-screen couple Lina Lamont and Don Lockwood, are also an off-screen couple if the trade papers and gossip columns are to be believed. Both perpetuate the public perception if only to please their adoring fans and bring people into the movie theaters. In reality, Don barely tolerates her, while Lina, despite thinking Don beneath her, simplemindedly believes what she sees on screen in order to bolster her own stardom and sense of self-importance

Movies begin at 9:00 pm in June and July and around at 8:00 pm in August, unless otherwise noted below. For the best seating, come early and bring a blanket or comfortable low-back chair. You may bring a picnic, but alcohol consumption is not permitted and subject to a fine. If movie is cancelled due to rain, the makeup dates will be Aug. 9 or Aug. 16 start at 9:30pm, after the regularly scheduled film, which starts at 8pm. Check website for updates.
