Hoboken Comedy Festival Dog Friendly Show This Sunday

For the 2nd year in a row the Hoboken Comedy Festival, which boasts to be a celebration of Hoboken's entertainment independence, will hold an outdoor, Dog Friendly comedy show with dozens of amazing acts.
On October 4th, as part of a seven-day and eleven-show comedy festival, the Hoboken Comedy Festival takes over Viaduct Park on 14th Street between Grand St and Adams St in Hoboken to entertain canines and owners during a four hour comedy bonanza. The show will feature the top new talent acts that submitted to the Hoboken Comedy Festival side by side with veteran pro comedians.
The event will benefit the Liberty Humane Society through a direct donation admission charge of $10, and will feature a Beer Garden hosted by the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
"Not only are we committed to showcasing new talent, we want to make sure we help our community as well" says Festival Creator and Comedian Dan Frigolette, "this year we support two amazing charities."
The Liberty Humane Society is a Jersey City based animal shelter that fosters a community of compassion and respect, and provides animals in need with a chance at a lifelong, loving home. The organization specializes in low-cost veterinary clinics, providing vaccines, flea and tick control, and microchipping; as well as affordable adoption services that stretch throughout the entirety of Hudson County.
Each year the Hoboken Comedy Festival joins together with LHS to pair famous comedians and adoptable dogs up for a hysterical and enjoyable photoshoot. Over the years, the photoshoot has featured: Carlos Mencia, Chuck Nice, Wil Sylvince, Keith Alberstadt, Moody McCarthy, Brett Druck, Monroe Martin, and so many more.
LHS holds their annual Bark in the Park event on October 10, 2015 at 12pm at Stevens Park in Hoboken on Hudson Street between 4th and 5th Streets. HCF will be donating comedian Aaron Berg to emcee this great event. Berg has been seen on Jay-Z's TIDAL Network and on AXS TV's Live at Gotham.
In 2015 the Hoboken Comedy Festival will also support the Hoboken Volunteer Ambulance Corps, through beverage sales all throughout the entire festival. The Hoboken Comedy Festival will hold a Beer Garden event on Sunday October 4th from Noon to 10pm, and serve indoor refreshments throughout the rest of the Festival. Hoboken EMS is a 100% volunteer organization providing Ambulance and EMS services to three major hospitals throughout Hudson County. Hoboken EMS has been serving Hoboken since 1971.
From Sept 28th through October 4th, one can see the likes of Artie Lange from the Howard Stern Show, Robert Kelly from HBO's Tourgasm,Charlamagne tha God from Power 105's The Breakfast Club and MTV's Guy Code, Andrew Schulz from the new IFC show Benders, Yannis Pappasknow from his character work as Maurica and Mr Panos, Derek Gaines from MTV's Broke A$$ Game Show, Moody McCarthy from Letterman, Wil Sylvince from Comedy Central, Krystyna Hutchinson and Corinne Fisher from Guys We F*****d Podcast, and many more.
