Flash flooding is expected tobegin shortly.* Some locations that will experience flooding include...Jersey City, Jamaica, Yonkers, Stamford, Norwalk, New Rochelle,Flushing, Bayonne, White Plains, Mott Haven, Hoboken, East Tremont,Hackensack, New City and Port Chester.

Recommended actions

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of smallcreeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses aswell as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
