New businesses are opening their doors in Hoboken day after day. Businesses all the way from cafes, clothing boutiques, restaurants, to well-known beauty stores are opening up. With the Sephora Studio welcoming the women of the community into their state of the art space this past April, there is another treat the ladies are looking forward to and that is Drybar.
“We are beyond thrilled to be opening another highly requested location in New Jersey,” expressed Alli Webb, founder of Drybar. “Hoboken has an incredible community and we can’t wait to be its newest member.”
There are over 25 Drybar locations in the country, with the Garden State having two locations. One Drybar location is located in Summit and the other at the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, which indeed makes Hoboken’s location a charm since it’s the third one in the state. The company has been featured on Meghan Kelly TODAY, Women’s Health, Vogue Daily, The New York Times, and so much more.
Prior to launching Drybar, Webb was a seasoned hair stylist who trained at Toni & Guy. She also started Straight-at-Home in 2008, which was based in Los Angeles and happened to be her side hustle. At Straight-at-Home, Webb’s services were blowouts which were provided to people from the comfort of their own home via referrals. Once Straight-at-Home began expanding, Webb launched Drybar and the rest is history.
“Drybar is based on the simple concept of focusing on one thing and being the best at it,” said Webb. “For us, it’s blowouts.”
Webb mentioned that the new shop in Hoboken will maintain Drybar’s signature design, including custom Italian chairs, tufted fabric walls, marble bars with built-in phone docking stations and flat screens featuring cult favorite chick flicks.
“The new Hoboken location will offer all of our signature services including our full style menu, signature in shop services and our line of professional hair styling product and tools,” she said.
Drybar’s signature services are as follows:
Drybar’s Full Style Menu:
With all styles always available on tap, you can achieve your look of choice from an extensive menu of options including The Straight Up, The Manhattan, The Cosmo, The Mai Tai, The Cosmo-Tai, Southern Comfort, Dirty Martini, The Uptini, Old Fashioned, Shirley Temple or a style from the braid bar. Drybar’s menu has a look for every hair need.

“We look forward to meeting tons of new people while also welcoming back familiar faces to a shop that may be a bit closer to where they live to bring happiness and blowouts to their lives,” expressed Webb about the soon to open Hoboken location.
