HoBOOken Halloween Light Show in Full Force

With all its bars, shopping, and focus on revelry, it’s easy to forget that Hoboken is a family town, but every year Halloween comes around to remind us. Sure, in recent years Halloween has become a reason for adults to throw on a costume and have a party, but it’s still the night that kids get to dress up in adorable costumes and wander the town demanding candy.

It’s also the time when some ambitious families really go all out when it comes to the Halloween decorations. If you’ve never wandered the town at night during the month of October, time to make some plans, because it’s actually pretty fun. You won’t be alone, either, as there will definitely be other people armed with smartphone cameras, and some home owners even hang out, happy to chat about their designs.

Here are some of the best examples we found—what are some of your faves?

This piece is titled “Cloud Zombies: consumed by their mobile devices, connected or disconnected?”
The pose is everything. So casual, he looks drunk.
A lovely field of disembodied eyeballs. As one does.
